My name is Melanie  and in my early twenties I suffered from anxiety, after experiencing a panic attack while shopping, I developed a fear of the same thing happening again.

This fear was always on my mind, it felt like I spread it from place to place.

 Within months my world had grown smaller.

I’d force myself to go to places I knew I’d feel uncomfortable in an effort to prove that I was okay, inevitably I’d feel worse and have to leave.

I started to avoid certain places and situations, having to make excuses for why I wouldn’t and couldn’t attend.

I felt embarrassed to admit to anyone that I felt this way, like I was somehow failing in life. It looked through my eyes that I was broken and everyone else around me was okay.


My guess is if this resonates with you,  you feel exhausted managing your life this way, trying to control the way you feel 100% of the time. This never worked for me either.

Reading countless self-help books, meditating, going to Yoga, Pilates, Mindfulness classes, exercising, doing anything you can think of that might help you feel better.

Me too for over 10 years until one day I read a book that started me on the journey to where I am today.

With a simple understanding, a revolutionary new approach I finally left myself alone, and can honestly say my life has changed.

My anxiety fell away, my need to manage the outside world disappeared.
